What Can One Do About Terribly Low Sex Drive While On Medication For Diabetes And Depression?

My boyfriend and I began living together in Jan 2018 he has a very low sex drive. We are both 57. He has diabetes and is on all kinds of medications. Including blood pressure and antidepressants. He is currently seeing a psychiatrist and I would like to know what questions he should be asking the doctor about the meds and what we can try doing something to hopefully improve the situation

Hi,

Long standing diabetes can reduce sex drive to some extent. Apart from this depressive disorder itself and few anti-depressive drugs can have adverse effect as far as sex is concerned. While visiting the doctor, these points are to be discussed with the doctor.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
