My daughter is 12 and just had her 5th nosebleed in 3 days. 3 weeks ago she did have a nosebleed after an accidental punch on the nose ( playing in the swimming pool). It is currently very hot in Australia so she has spent her time indoors with the A/C. Thank you for your reply
Noted the history about your 12 year old daughter getting repeated nosebleeds after accidental trauma while playing in swimming pool. The nature of recurrence indicate the needs for the following: Consult an ENT Surgeon for nasal endoscopy and ask for following investigations: CT scan of nose and sinuses. Tests of blood for CBC, bleeding and clotting time. If there is any fracture of nasal bones then it may need surgical correction. If there is any bleeding spot a simple cauterization may help to stop the bleeding. Further evaluation and management as per the response of initial management. Let her take rest. Also get her Blood pressure checked.
I hope this answer helps you. Let me know if I can assist you further.
