What Casues Stomach Pain And Heart Burn After Taking Depo Shot?
OK I got the depo shot on Sep 12 after having a baby had intercourse 3 weeks after child was born and still having intercourse Was on antibiotics for a bladder infection a week ago and now feeling back pain stomach cramping heart burn seeing stars and bloating ob dis a blood pregnancy test and it came back negative what else could it be if I m not pregnant
This stomach pain or bloating is unlikely related to your depo shot (injection contraceptive) but it could be related to your bladder infection.
So,you should undergo routine blood investigations,ESR, electrolytes, urinalysis with x- ray abdomen and ultrasound abdomen first to make a diagnosis apart from urinary infection.
Treatment will be based on underlying cause otherwise you can symptomatic treatment till the time like antibiotics, analgesics, antacids with other supportive treatment.
Consult physician for further advise.
