Hello, today I had some jalapeño cheese n I started getting this light burning sensation under the tight side of my toungue like a piece of the spice was caught, so I looked in the mirror & found this little white string like thing coming out of the being of my tongue it seems?
It doesn't hurt most of the time, but when I mess with it it kinda gets irritated.. Was wondering what it was or if its dangerous?
Burning sensation under the tongue may be due to a ulcer on the floor of the mouth.Use gum tone gel if ulcers or burning is often. You did not mention what that "White string" is. Its unusual for anything to be present like that. visit your oral surgeon if it persists.
