What Cause Dark Colored Stool And Pain In Chest While Taking Iron Supplements?

I m 20weeks pregnant, since I ve been taking iron tablets, my stool has turned black in colour. Also I get this pain in my chest like heartburn but it lasts for hours before I find relief and my urine becomes too concentrated when I experience that pain.. Please help

hi dark coloured stools are due to iron staining and the chest pain you are experiencing is also due to iron as it causes gastritis . take iron after meals and not before meals and also you can take mucaine gel 2 tsf twice daily. all the best take care.
