What Cause Fatigue, Occipital Headache With High Blood Pressure?
Foreign client presenting on beta blockers and ace inhibitors for dx hypertension for six years.. Presenting with severe fatigue, occipital headache, er ruled out mi, and ran full panel with no abnormalities noted. Current bps is 228/96 right, 220/90 left... Any ideas on tx options... Gp
ACE inhibitor and beta blocker both are weak anti-hypertensive. You can change ACE inhibitor to ARB (tab Telmesartan or Olmesartan) with a diuretic (hydrochlorothiazide) which is a better anti-hypertensive. If the BP is not yet controlled, you can add a calcium channel blocker (amlodipine or cilnidipine).
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
