What Cause Lack Of Mobility In Shoulders And Hips?

I have been participating in a course which requires a lot of movement and I was recently told that I have a lack of mobility specifically in my shoulders, hips and upper body rotation that I need to address so that I may progress. I do not know where to start with this... do i go to yoga, pilates, chiropracter, physio? I am otherwise young and fit. Thank you

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The lack of mobility in the joints is suggestive of joint stiffness. This can be due to lack of proper exercise and muscle tone. You need to consult a physiotherapist first for proper guidance.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Praveen Tayal, Orthopaedic Surgeon
