What Cause Pink Discharge During 7 Weeks Pregnancy?
hello doctor i am around 6-7 weeks pregnant (my rough estimate) and for the last 2-3 days have noticed some pinky discharge when i wipe myself or in my knickers during the day. it has no nasty smell only a sweet smell and slight low abdomen pains but nothing more than niggly ones that i am aware of different times of the day. i am not doing anything to stressful during the days but i am always active especially having 3 children under 12 years old. can you please tell me if me and my partner should be worried? my first midwife appointment is not until the 11th june 2012. thank you.
hi,it is a matter of concern.you are suffering from threatened abortion where the cahnces for miscarriage are increased.this pink coloured discharge is nothing but blood stained white discharge.you need to take rest,no lifting your children or weights and no intercourse.also star with tab duphasto 10 mg twice a day in the meanwhile.you will need to continue this till 18 weeks.it will provide additional support to the pregnancy.take care and all the best.
