I am having fingertip problems prickly mostly my index finger left hand only. It does move to other fingertips on the same hand but not on the thumb. It started about one month ago lasted about 2 weeks and stop for a couple of weeks then started again this month. Also my left big toe has problems at the same time and the issue s started after I groomed my nails. I have an ingrown toenail and a fungus on the left big toe. The toe can be very painful..I cut a V in the top of the nail white area. And the pain was gone. I also get the prickly problems on my toe. It feels kinda like slivers in my fingers. Can you help?
Hello, i see that problem in your fingernails is different from your toe nail. From what you have described, it appears that you have fingertip eczema , now there are various causes for the same like detergents, chemicals etc. I would adv you to wear gloves while dealing with the same, wash ur hands with a bland soap like pears following that and after mopping dry , apply an emollient like parasoft/moisturex soft cream daily. For toenail,a fungal infection and ingrown toe nail, requires evaluation by a dermatologist..the treatment options depending on your severity can be medical or surgical. Thanks Take care
