What Cause Recurrent Blood Filled Bumps On Inner Thighs?
Im a 23 year old male and i have been have reoccuring bumps filled with blood and pus on the inner part of my thighs i have been getting these bumps since i was about 16 but gradually they have gotten worse, they have gotten larger and more tender sonetimes it hurts to walk and i think its because i sweat and my thighs rub together? I dont know how to get rid of them. Can you help me?
What you could have is called folliculitis which is redness and swelling of the hair roots (follicles). The inner thighs do undergo friction as you rightly said, therefore below are my suggestions:
(1) Avoid wearing tight clothing, loose cotton or linen clothing which doesn't stick to the skin nor is very tight to the skin should be worn.
(2) Consider hair removal or laser hair removal to permanently reduce the hair growth in your inner thighs.
(3) Moisturize your skin with intense moisturizers at least twice a day after bath.
(4) Apply antibiotic creams or gels in areas of infection: TBact (Mupirocin) twice a day for at least 7 days.
