What Cause Small Jelly Type Discharge?

I have one problem, will you assist me
That, my wife's monthly period was on 12 july 2012, but after 12 days i.e. 24 july small jelly type blidding comes out and it continues to 3 days.. And it gives heavy pain.
please suggest me asap..
