Hi, me and my husband are trying for a baby. My last period started on may 1st. And I m due for another period may. 29th. According to the ovulation calculator I ovulated somewhere between the 13th-17th. Which I believe to be true. But for about the past 3 days when I go to the bathroom and wipe there are very faint red spots and only when I wipe. Doesn t seem to b in my urine...?? And I I m feeling cramps. I m confused as to what this is. My periods are always on time, and I ve heard about implantation bleeding. But I m assuming it s to early for that to start. Any answers that might help me understand better, would be greatly appreciated:) thanx! Bre.

Hi,
There can be scanty bleeding twice in the menstrual cycle. 1st is ovulation bleeding, just before ovulation (between 13 and 17th in your case) and 2nd time it's implantation bleeding just before or after the expected date of menstruation. Instead of depending on ovulation calendar, it's advisable to get your ovulation study done and get actual ovulation day in your case (roughly it's 14 days before expected date of menstruation).
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
