What Cause Stye And Its Treatment?

Two weeks ago I had what I thought was a stye on my bottom eyelid - my eye swelled up over the next few days and gradually went down leaving the eye feeling a little scratchy. Now 2 weeks later I have a white/cream looking ulcer that just won't go away. I have tried Optrex and Golden eye ointment with no effect.

Hello
Stye is caused by bacterial infection of the gland of Zeiss which lies on the eyelid margin along the eye lashes. The infection is usually bacterial and is caused by staphylococcus aureus.
The treatment of the condition is by use of antibiotic eye drops and oral antiinflammatory drugs.
Applying hot compression provide symptomatic relief.

Thank you
