What Cause Sudden Lethargy With Normal BP And Blood Reports?
My very active grandmother (78yrs though you would never guess it) passed out 3 times in one morning. Went to hospital where ECG, blood work, blood sugar, blood pressure, etc. testing was done all showing normal. They sent her home after an overnight stay. She now has little to no energy and the smallest things tire her out. She says that she just doesn t feel right. Is there something more going on???
Hello and thanks for your question. Passing out 3 times can be a sign of a serious neurological or cardiac condition. It is good that tests at the hospital were normal but she may need further testing by a neurologist or cardiologist. It may also be that her system is just readjusting after the trauma of having her system shut down 3 times with the passing out spells. Make sure she is eating a healthy diet, getting some exercise like walking and drinking plenty of water. If she is not feeling better soon I recommend that she see a neurologist and a cardiologist to try and figure out what is going on. I hope she is feeling better soon.
