What Cause White Spots On Tonsils?

I have white spots on my tonsils, negative for strep. Concerned it could be gonorehha, after performing oral sex on a female. Sore throat here and there, as of now no sore throat. I also had a urine analysis, cause I thought I might have a UTI, it came back clean. I am not sure if that would detect a std? I was prescribed 500mg of ciprofloxacin just incase I had a UTI

Hi,
welcome to healthcare magic...
I have gone through your question ..the white spots on tonsils are pus filled pockets because of infection..its not gonorrhea as along with urinary tract innfection you should have sore throat and swollen lymph nodes in the neck. So dont worry about that...yes urine test can detect gonorrhea bacteria (Neisseria gonorrhoeae) .. i recommend a course of antibiotics and analgesics for tonsillitis...if you have any further questions i am happy to help you...wish you a good health..
