What Caused Cold Injury In My Arm Causing Numbness?

i had some nerve damage to an arm 20 years ago. Eventually I got most of the sensation back. Now I ve had a cold injury to the same arm and my hand and arm are completely numb 24 hours later. What specialist should I see? Are there any therapies that help?

Hello,

Since in the past you already had the nerve injury and now again the same limb you have an issue I would recommend you to visit the neurosurgeon and get it assessed again. May first try will be to examine you physically. Next will be to look for NCV or EMG studies. Post which the decision will be made to what to be taken as the best treatment option. Please visit the neurosurgeon at the earliest.
