What Caused Numbness And Pain Down Both Of My Arms And Legs?

I had anterior cervical fusion nine years ago and have been relatively fine until recently. I am experiencing extreme numbness and pain down both of my arms and legs. It is worse when I lie down or sit for a long period of time. Is it possible for the plate to slop over time?

Hi,

If you are having problems after 9 years then there is a possibility that your bones have overgrown and now the spinal canal may be narrow. Plates do not matter anymore unless the fusion has failed.

Get fresh X-rays to assess the canal size or Cervical myelogram.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
