What Caused Pain In Left Side Of My Neck And Shoulder Area?

My left side of my neck at the cartarid artery and shoulder area is in pain. I also have recently had driving issues where my body seems to be veering to the left side weaving in and out of lanes? Are these two related and serious enough to be worried?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be due to conditions like cervical spondylitis. As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopaedician and plan for an MRI scan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
