What Caused White Marbling On Both Tonsils And One Small Blackish Spot On The Right Tonsil?
I have white marbling on both tonsils and one small blackish spot on the right tonsil. There is no soreness and it is not difficult to swallow, but there is redness occurring in the area immediately behind my last molars. I've had mono before, but never accompanied with a blackish spot. What might I be dealing with?
I have gone through your query regarding white marbling on your both tonsils along with one black spot on right tonsil.
As you said that you have no pain in throat only there is redness in the area posterior to last tooth. Your clinical history favours that most likely you are having chronic tonsillitis with keratosis.
The white marble like small pieces are the organise pus that had formed by the infection of tonsillar follicle and had been resolved either due to body resistance or by antibiotics.
Once the tonsils starts having these white pieces, they can't be cure by medication and the only curative treatment is to go for tonsillectomy operation as to avoid further complications like Quincy.
Probably your query is answered.
Regards.
