How does fluid get into the ear canal in the first place to cause Meniere s disease ? I have never had the ringing in my ear or ears , just fullness and loss of balance . I tried taking Meclizine and that didn t work so my doctor prescribed Diazepam and that works . And yes , I even tried therapy , that didn t work either . Thank You Jenny
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of ringing in ears, fullness and loss of balance which are symptoms of Meniere's disease. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take antihistamine and anticholinergic drugs like meclizine and scopolamine. Avoid touching or pricking ear with any sharp object. Apply warm compresses on ear. You should take oral broad spectrum Antibiotics to treat the infection. Put anti-inflammatory ear drops. You should maintain complete hygiene of ear canal. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. Start treatment after proper prescription. You should go for otoscopic examination and audiometry test.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
