I am a 61 year old male --- I have chronic bladder inflammation and irritation as a result of Reiter s Syndrome, this some times causes pain and interrupted and lots of dribbling at the end. Now I have been diagnosed with a UTI as well. Is this normal for patients with Reiter s Syndrome? Are there any other possible causes for a UTI in a male my age?
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have reiter syndrome. It consist of urethritis, arthritis and conjunctivitis. You also have urinary tract infection. Causes are routine bacterial infection. You should also check blood sugar test. Diabetes is one of the most common cause. You should take antibiotics like norfloxacin or levofloxacin. It is prescription based medicine so consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly. Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer.
