Hi my baby was 3 months prem and she was on oxygen until she was 4 months. She is now 10 months and keeps choking on phlem she has been doing this now for 3 month do u know what this can be its so scary when she startes choking.
She may be having enlarged adenoids. Please check with an entire surgeon if she is having any choanal atresia or cleft palate. Choanal atresis is the closure of the distal end of the nose. Cleft palate is gap between the palate. Please check with ENT surgeon for proper diagnosis.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
