I ve had eithe a cyst or a boil on my scalp it was painful so i squeezed it. Now the bump is gone and not painful anymore but the spot is a circle bald spot around half an inch in diameter. I m wondering wether the hair will grow back and how can i treat this. It s been two weeks and the spot is still bald.

Hi.
As per your case history of bald patch after boil, my treatment advice is -
1. It is a post boil alopecia.
2. Apply a tacrolimus 0.03 %ointment twice daily on it.
3. Take a zinc supplement once daily for 3 months.
4. Other treatment options are oral steroid like prednisone or betamethasone taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
