What Causes A Bite Like Small Scab On The Left Buttock?

Hi doc it s been a long time since I have had this it s a small tiny little scab on my left buttock like a bite however it does not go away been there now for about 4 months have left it without picking at it. I have had it before years ago maybe 7 ?? and at that time I must have had it for about 2 years at least ???

Hi.
As per your case history you are having a scar on buttock.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Apply a hexilak gel twice daily on affected skin.
4. Other treatment options are topical tretinoin, surgical excision done by a dermato-surgeon.
