What Causes A Black Spot In The Vision After An Eye Injury?

I was hit during a sports game with another players hand impacting my eye. I felt immediate pain around my left eye. As I opened it look around i noticed my vision on the left eye was darker then usual and harde to focus with. After a couple minutes the pain subsided and my vision improved but a black spot remained. After a night of resting, the black spot remains and my vision has deteriorated. No actual pain is felt but a little discomfort remains. I have no insurance. What are my options?
