What Causes A Blister With Fluid Like Sac On Left Tonsil?
I got a sudden large fluid filled almost blister looking sac on or near my left tonsil and it makes it difficult to swollow. This has happened a few times in the past and usually goes away within a couple of hours like nothing ever happened. What could be causing this and should I be concerned? There is no warning when this happens and it is very sudden. I do not feel ill in any way other than it is difficult to swollow.
It seems that you might be having some cyst like lesion there . it gets filled gradually by your own systemic fluid. and when it's gets sufficiently large ,it get burst, discharging fluid out of it into your throat and disappears. it causes pain if it gets infected, and also causes difficulty in swallowing. this diagnosis is based on your symptomatology. Final diagnosis will depend on examination. if it's cyst, then it need to be removed. conservative treatment before operation will be required to alleviate symptoms and pain.
