Ok, I have had a wierd intestinal girgle and have felt yucky for three days. No diahrea or vomiting. It seems like a different kind of virus than I have had before. Ive been a little bloated even though I'm eating very little. I'm 41 year old female. I'm 5 feet tall and weigh 104. Any ideas?
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history and understood your concerns. Having intestinal gurgling and feeling yucky for three days can be a mild form of gastroenteritis. This can be diagnosed by the following ways: Get stool and blood tested. Get a course of a PPI like Pantoprazole, Domperidone and symptomatic treatment with activated charcoal, antacids. A course of an antibiotic and metronidazole if there is an evidence of intestinal infection. Take only boiled and cooled water; homemade food. In cases of mild forms there may not be any obvious diarrhea or vomiting. Even a viral stomach infection can cause such symptoms. Take plenty of oral fluids and take a bed rest to have an early recovery.
