What Causes A Bony Prominence On One Side Of The Throat?
I have a small bone or something on the left side of my neck that feels abnormal. Right above it feels as if there is a space above it. The right side of the throat is smooth, but the left side has the bone you can feel. I ve notce I can t make myself burp like I use to. When u push the throat to the left, it feels as if the throat has been broke or something. There isn t any pain in the throat, just agrivating. I was wondering how the left side of the throat is suppose to feel?
Hello and welcome to HCM, Feeling of some knid of prominence on left side of throat could be some swelling or growth. Clinical assessment of the throat be an ENT specialist is required for clinical assessment. Clinical assessment will determine whether there is any swelling or growth in the throat. In case any growth is present, biopsy may be required for histopathological examination. In case there is some bony growth or bony enlargement, appropriate measure can be taken. Thus, consult your ENT specialist for further management.
