What Causes A Bruise Down The Spine After A Bone Marrow Test?
I am having some low back pain, and discovered a rather large bruise on my back. The bruise starts at the top of my butt crack and goes down a good inch. I had a bone marrow test 3 weeks ago, didn t think the bruise has been there that long. The back pain is near the bruise but not right at the bruise.
Hi it is possible. Bone marrowbiopsy is done with a wide needle and there could have been a puncture of a small blood vessel leading to a slow leak and bruising. It should settle down. If it does not, please go back to the doctor who performed the procedure--regards
