What Causes A Bruise On The Underside Of The Arm With A Lump Inside?
A bruise on the under side of my right arm with a flesh colored or red bump in the middle. I don t think I hit it...it just kind of appeared. I m on vacation so I d like to avoid going to a doctor. It s tingling a bit and is causing pain down the arm.
Hi! Good afternoon. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.
As you have not mentioned about your sex and age, it might not be possible to exclude a few possibilities. Therefore, I would rather suggest you to show it to a surgeon at the place of your vacation to avoid any possible delay in getting the right treatment started. Till that you could go for an anti inflammatory drug along with a proton pump inhibitor for a symptomatic relief.
I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.
Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. I wish you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
