What Causes A Bruise Over Injection Site?

My 14 year old son has just had his immunization injections last week. Lower down on the arm where he had his injection he has now developed a bruise and on the inside of this bruise is what looks like a bite mark. Why is this? and is it anything to do with the injection

Hi,
From history it seems that there might be having some allergic reaction to immunization injection giving rise this problem.
Another possibility of developing thrombophlebitis following shot.
Apply ice pack for 2-3 days.
Apply Thormbophob cream on affected site.
If pain and bruise increased, consult your treating doctor and get examined.
Ok and take care.
