What Causes A Bulging Vein Under The Tongue After Eating Hot Food?
after eating a hot pocket pizza meal the left side of my tongue on the tip looks similar to the old style bottle caps symmetrical divots ... also the vain under the tongue is bulging. this causes pain. I do not believe I burned any part of my mouth from the Hot Pocket meal. I have never had anything like this happen, and have eaten this as a meal several times in the past.
hellooo...read thru ur query...i feel that the bulging of veins under the tongue is usual for everone...since it causes pain it can be due to slight trauma while having hot pizza...i feel nothing to be worried in this case...it will be healing by itself...tip of the tongue can be inflammation of the taste buuds while having hot food...itwill also heal in few days time...if its paining too much u can take an analgesic(diclofenac).if after few days still pain persists u can meet a dentist and get it treated based on the clinical presentation...as till now i feel it will heal..be careful not to have hot food coffee etc..drink cold water a lot...hope ur benefitted something from this reply..have a healthy day!!!
