What Causes A Bump On The External Side Of The Ear?
Hi My 11year Old son as a bump on the top outside area of the ear. He has had this bump for at least 6 months. It looks to be the size of a pea and has not changed in size over this time. It is white with some black discoloration and said it does not hurt when touched. It used to be a hard bump but seems like it has gotten softer and perhaps has pus in it. I have not popped it and he seems to leave it alone. What do you think this could be?
Hi, dear. I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. He may have some infected sebaceous cyst or some infection benign cyst. You should go for excision ot that lump. No need to worry. It is a simple lesion. Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly. Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
