What Causes A Buttock Lump, Irregular Bowel Movements, Anal Itching And Swelling?

Hi

I have a red line on top of the butt crack (sorry for being crude) and its not uncomfortable but when you touch it you are aware of it, i also think there is a small lump just slightly to the left side. I am wondering what it is, atm iv recently had 3 diagnosis of different things, one said hemorhoids, the other said herpes and one says does not sound like herpes (from gum clinic). I have had irregular bowel movements and not used the toilet to for pooing as much as usual. I have also had a constant itch within the anal area, and it feels as though my insides might be swollen and cannot always feel the chestnut sized lump in the anus. Please let me know.

Hello,

The most possible issue here is infection in the form of pilonidal sinus or else.

In our clinic, I recommend sitz bath, bulk laxative, analgesic, antihistamine, antibiotic to recover faster.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
