What Causes A Cluster Of Clear Blisters On The Back Of Legs?
My 2 year old just developed a cluster of clear blisters today on the back of one of his legs. It looked like a mosquito bite earlier I thought, but when I looked again up close, its looks like a mosquito bite with little tiny blisters on top?? I cannot think of anything we have done different today?
The possible diagnosis of the condition based on the description of the lesions is papular urticaria or insect bite hypersensitivity. You should try to use mosquito nets as much as possible. Topical mild steroid cream like mometasone can be applied over the affected area. Oral antihistamines like fexofenadine may also be used. Consult your dermatologist regarding the above mentioned therapy. Regards
