What Causes A Cyst On The Forehead Along With Headache?

Cyst on forehead
I've had a cyst on my head for a fews years. went to the hospital a week ago due to headaches that last for weeks. The doctor ended up stabbing it to see if they can get anything out but was too hard. A white spot form on the top of the cyst a few days ago. Today I ended up smacking my hat on my car and made it start bleed with little discharge but having a headache again. I have. appointment sent on Thursday to have it looked at. Would I be okay to wait til than or is this that needs to be looked at?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Probably, it is an infected sebaceous cyst with punctum over it. You can wait till your consultation but can take antibiotic till then. Amoxycillin is the best drug in your case. Later on it would require excision.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
