A year ago a darker brown line appeared on my forehead from left to right. I thought it was a sun burn that it was going to go away during the winter, but that has not happened. I went to a dermatologist that said that there are open blood cells underneath, but I seriously question this. What can it be?
Hi. As per your case history you are having post inflammatory hyperpigmentation probably due to sunlight. My treatment advice is - 1. Avoid sun exposure and use a good sunscreen lotion with spf more than 30. 2. Apply a mild depigmenting cream like kojivit twice daily on dark line. 3. Other treatment options are chemical peeling with glycolic acid or lactic acid done by a dermatologist.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
