What Causes A Delay In Periods Despite Having Negative UPT?
Hi I m on day four of my missed period it s always been heavy and for the past four months been regular, my partner and I have had unprotected sex multiple times this month, I would like advice as to what to do cause I ve had literally a couple of drops of blood with discharge yesterday but that was it and the home pregnancy test keep coming back negative, could I be pregnant?
Hello, I have gone through the query and understood your concern. Though your recent cycles have been regular, since you have had a history of irregular cycles in the past, it is likely that the hormone disturbance may have recurred. Home pregnancy tests read well when performed 3-7 days after the missed period with a fresh early morning sample of urine. If the spotting does not increase, you can repeat the test in a couple of days. Alternatively, you can go for the blood test. Further management can be planned accordingly. Hope this helps.
