What Causes A Delayed Period After Taking Meprate?

hello doctor, age 36 ,LMP 18th June.unexpected bleeding on 15th day(july 2nd).started meprate 10 under prescription 2tbs BD for a week from 4th july to 11th july.but not got my next periods .so what am i supposed to do?and whether it s common?pls do reply.
