What Causes A Dent In Cheek After An Injury?

my son feel into a TV stand and now has a dent in his cheek. At first I just thought it was the bruise now the bruise is gone but there is a dent especially when he smiles, it looks like a huge dimple. Now he has a bit of a crooked smile. I felt it and it feels like a lump. Is there anything I can do about this?

thanks for your query, the lump or dent could be because of the fractured bone or an inflammatory swelling secondary to the impact. consult a oral physician and take a radiograph like OPG to rule out any fracture. i hope my answer will help you. take care.
