What Causes A Dilated Pupil After A Cataract Surgery?
On November 21, I had cataract surgery on my right eye, with a crystalens implant. The dilation of my pupil gradually receded and was back to normal within 3 to 4 days. On Decembe 12, I had the same procedure, same implant on my left eye, but my pupil is still fully dilated. Is this cause for concern?
pupil is dilated by use of mydriatic before surgery for easy lenticular extraction. it is specialy so in phako emulsification.atropine might have been used in which action is prolonged slowly it will be normal.nothing to worry. keep it under obs-er vation.
