What Causes A Feeling Of Food Getting Stuck While Swallowing?
I just ate few chips, but for the past few months feeling like food is stuck when I swallow on the right side, right below my chin start of the throat area. I had occasions 2x of where thought I was going to choke but this time after swallowing, I immediately threw up a little but not gagging just had to spit out/throw up what I was eating. It does not hurt when I eat swallowing wise but when gets to that point sometimes feels l like it's really stuck sometimes and very scary.
Welcome to Healthcare Magic. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
I need to know whether you are having acidity. If you have acidity then it causes laryngopharyngeal reflux, then sometimes people complain of feeling something stuck in throat. All you need to avoid spicy food, drink plenty of water, sleep after 2 hrs of food, wear loose clothes. But better you can have an flexible fiberoptic laryngoscopy to see the food pathways.
I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you have any further questions.
Take care.
