Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

It would explain that if lightheadedness is related to standing up position, this could indicate possible orthostatic hypotension. In such case a Head-Up Tilt test would be necessary.

I would also recommend consulting with an ENT specialist in order to exclude a possible inner ear disorder and performing a cervical spine X-ray study.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
