I have a firm mass on my left lower abdominal area which seems to be more painful during menstruation and constipation. Symptoms include swelling, throbbing, sharp pains, tender, and itching. I ve had ct scans, ultra sounds, x-rays and nothing is visible but physically you can see the protusion and feel the very firm mass. My height is 5 6 and weigh 145lbs.
Hello dear, thanks for posting your question! It is difficult to guess what the mass could be by just your history alone at the moment without a clinical examination. Also are the symptoms cyclical? Or does it increase upon standing or decrease upon lying down? Does the mass seem to increase during menstruation and is it tender to touch during menstruation? In my opinion, as there is a possibility that it could be hernia or rarely endometriosis of the abdominal wall ( does it show in CT scan ), I suggest you take a surgical opinion to rule or hernia and also to rule out endometriosis. Hope this information helps. Take care.
