Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
We recently discovered a skin tag/flappy lump under my 6 year old son's tongue. It's about 2/16ths of an inch in diameter, near the center, not the side of the tongue. It's fleshy colored, a bit whitish. He says it doesn't hurt. No idea how long it's been there. Should I be concerned?
Thank you for consulting in Health care Magic. It seems like as duct blockage of sublingual salivary gland, caused by infection. But we should also differentiate with papilloma, cutaneous horn, fibroma, lipoma. You should take your child to a dentist-surgeon and get him examined. Best regards
