My husband has a flesh colored growth on his eyeball right where the blue ends and the white begins. It has grown slightly and while it does not obstruct his vision, he said it it beginning to bother him whenhe blinks. Can you tell me what this might be
Hello It seems from the history that you are having a flesh colored growth in the eye. This indicates pterygium which indicates age related degenerative condition of the conjunctiva. The treatment is in the form of pterygium excision and it is indicated if the pterygium is progressive encroaching the cornea and affecting the vision or in case of recurrent inflammations of the pterygium. Since you does not seem to be having these problems no need to worry just follow up may be sufficient.
Thank you
