Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My daughter has a small bruised lump on her forehead, about the size of a dime. She isn't sure if she bumped it or not. It concerns me if something like that could just appear. She probably bumped it, but we don't know for sure. She has had it for two days and it hasn't changed.
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
It looks like some injury to her head by impact. It is due to soft tissue injury and hematoma formation. It will resolve its own in 3-5 days. You need not worry if there is no vomiting, irritability, dullness ,headache , baby as active and playful.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. Take care.
