Hi, I have a hard lump that is located about two inches to the left of my throat right above the collarbone. It is very easy to move around and I can nearly move over top of my collarbone. It is about half of a golf ball in size and causes no pain. I was wondering if you had any idea what it is?
Since the lump is freely mobile it is likely to be a swelling called LIPOMA , which is a benign swelling of fat tissue and slowly increases in size, It generally does not need any treatment . However if it causes pain or becomes hard/fixed , then meet your doctor for advice and possible excision. There is another posibility that the swelling may be an enlarged lymph node , which definitely needs to be examined specially in the region of neck as it can be bit serious . please meet your doctor for examination and further advice,
Thanks
