What Causes A Hard Painless Immovable Lump Behind The Ear?

i have a hard painless nonmovable lump behind my ear my doctor told me it was a lymphnobe but i'm not convinced, i've read so much about it and i've been getting so many different answers if you could please help me out i would really appreciate it, give me an understanding on just what it might be.?

lump behind ear has many differential diagnosis .
it could be a lymph node or exiistosis of bone,
or infected and scarred area .or few more conditions .
but it needs clinical examination and if relevant u may need FNAC or biopsy based on type of swelling .
don't get convinced with online answers , it should be clinically seen and diagnosed .
without looking at lesion no doctor can say what it is
