What Causes A Hard Vein Like Thing In The Testicle?
i found have a hard vein like thing on my left testicle than runs down the middle of my actual testicle. I can sort of feel the same thing on my right testicle but not nearly as hard as the vein on the left one. It is firmly attached to the testicle itself and is not free floating, is this normal??
Hi. Thanks for your query. You have given a an elucidate history, The hard vein like thing on one of the testicles is in fact looks to be an epididymitis. This can be confirmed by a clinical evaluation and physical examination by a General Surgeon or an Urologist and reconfirmed by the Ultrasonography and color doppler examination. Also get blood, urine tests done, ultrasonography of the abdomen and pelvis particularly to find the focus of an infection like in the prostate or seminal vesicles. Get started on a long course of an antibiotic, . Surgery is sometimes required in resistant cases and if you have completed completed your family.
